This model contains two copper 5500 Watt heating elements, a protective anode rod, a self-cleaning dip tube to reduce sediment build-up and Tank Guard advanced tank protection to extend its life. Built-in dry fire protection prevents the electric 50-gallon water heater from being turned on unless the tank is full of water, eliminating accidental burn out the upper element.
